Johnny Appleseed Celebration

We had a taste test with different foods made from apples!  Then we graphed how many friends liked each food.  

 We weighed our apples on the balance!

We wore pots on our head---just like Johnny Appleseed!

 We ate yummy apple cake to celebrate Johnny Appleseed's Birthday!

We made pictures of Johnny Appleseed!  So cute!!!!

We learned about the life cycle of an apple. 

We added the correct number of playdough apples to our tree.

We graphed the color of apples we brought to school!

We estimated the number of seeds in our apples.  Then we counted how many there actually were in our apples !

Johnny Appleseed Celebration

We will be celebrating Johnny Appleseed's Birthday on September 21st.  We will be doing a lot of fun math and science activities.  Please remember to send in an apple (any kind) on or before Friday!

Welcome to Kindergarten!!!

I hope you are enjoying your last few days of summer vacation! Kindergarten will be starting soon! Open house for parents is Tuesday, August 7th at 6:30 pm. You can bring your child's supplies to Open House or bring them the first day of school. I am looking forward to seeing everyone!
